Sara Boucher

@MsGeekyTeach Sara Boucher is a geeky third year teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a rare commodity, in part, because she was born and raised in Las Vegas. Currently she is cultivating the next crop of super-geeks in her K-5 Technology Class. Her value as a nerd extends well beyond the classroom. She has organized the very first Edcamp Vegas and also performed professional development trainings on a variety of issues such as; using Twitter in the classroom, SMARTBoard use and application, understanding Dropbox, designing e-portfolios for UNLV student teachers, Google Drive, Project-Based learning, Coding, and basic computer applications. In her ample free time Sara also runs a technology club and is earning a master’s degree in Educational Technology and additionally, is working on a blended learning certification.
Brian Briggs

@bribriggs Brian is currently the Director of Innovation and Instructional Technology for the Plumas Lake Elementary School District. Before being a Director, he was a Ed Tech Coordinator and prior to that, an educator for 14 years. His passion has always been integrating technology in classroom and collaborating with other. With his educational background, he tries to make learning engaging, entertaining and fun.
Alice Chen

@wondertechedu Alice Chen is an English teacher and Technology Coach, which means her time is divided between teaching in the classroom and helping other educators as a Tech TOSA. She is also a Google Certified Teacher, PBS Digital Innovator, CUE Lead Learner, CUE Rock Star Lead, and a Google Educator Groups (GEG) SoCal Leader. Over the course of her career, she has been both a mentor teacher and master teacher, assisting beginning teachers and working with teacher candidates. She regularly presents at her school, within her district, and at local and national conferences. As a consultant, she also provides training and support in the area of educational technology and curriculum development.
JR Ginex-Orinion

@gochemonline JR Ginex-Orinion is a dynamic Science teacher and Technology Coach from Southern California. He has presented at conferences across the country and internationally on various educational technology topics and tools. He is a Google Certified Teacher, Google Education Trainer, CUE Lead Leaner, and OCCUE Board Member. His chemistry videos can be found on YouTubeEDU's lineup. JR also co-founded #CAEDCHAT, a weekly trending twitter conversation for forward thinking educators. He has consulted for several iOS and Web Applications dedicated to education. JR holds a Bachelors of Science in Analytical Chemistry, and a Masters of Science in Educational and Instructional Technology.
Reuben Hoffman

@reubenhoffman Reuben teaches Geography/Technology and US History at West Hills High School in San Diego. He was selected Teacher of the Year for the Grossmont Union High School District in 2010 and was a finalist for 2011 San Diego County Teacher of the Year. He earned an MA in Curriculum Development and Educational Technology at National University. He is both a Google Certified Teacher and Google Education Trainer.

@MrKellyIII LOVE! I love my family, history, and football. Sometimes the last two get mixed up. I’ve been a new school teacher since the 20th Century. I’ve been PBL since as long as I can remember as I graduated from the MERIT Program at the Krause Center. I’ve taught there as well. I love my students, too. My students help me innovate. We blog, 20% Time, tweet, Kickstarter, we travel, we very rarely use paper in our blended learning environment. I teach AP US History, AP Econ and Gov, as well as econ/gov, and psychology. I’ve also coached football for 23 years and am currently the head coach at Minarets. Will Kimbley

@willkimbley MACUL. He earned a Masters of Science in Instructional Science & Technology from CSU Monterey Bay, a Google Certified Teacher, YouTube Star Teacher, Microsoft Innovative Educator, and CUE Rock Star faculty. He is president of Central Valley Computer Using Educators, and works closely with Central Valley Science Project & the San Joaquin Valley Math Project. He serves on the TICAL Leadership Cadre, as well as TTSC & CASCD committees. He is passionate about technology integration in the classroom and works diligently to keep on the cutting edge of instructional innovation.
Karl Lindgren-Streicher

@LS_Karl Karl learns and teaches with 9th and 10th graders, mostly about world history. He fearlessly integrates technology with his class set of Chromebooks that he fundraised over $8000 to get. Karl believes that technology in the classroom must be used for student creation, not consumption. He believes in making mistakes, owning them, and learning from them with your students’ help.
Nancy Minicozzi

@CoffeeNancy Nancy has been teaching in one way or another most of her life. She holds several degrees, including a Master's degree in Educational Technology, and currently works in the Las Virgenes Unified School District as a media specialist, helping teachers integrate technology into their classrooms. She is passionate about working with educators to innovate their practices and has presented at local CUE events and at the annual CUE conference. Lisa Nowakowski

@NowaTechie Lisa is a Google Certified Teacher & Trainer, and has presented at CUE RockStar events in California. She was in the first cohort for Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate and a Leading Edge educator. In 2010 Lisa was awarded the Crystal Apple Award sponsored by the local NBC affiliate. She has been an Ed Tech innovator in her district for over 15 years. Lisa currently teaches 5th grade at King City Arts Magnet. As a district technology leader, she has brought 1:1 Chromebooks to her classroom with great success. As a 3rd grade teacher, she incorporated GAFE into her classroom. Ryan O'Donnell

@creativeedtech Ryan O'Donnell is a high school social studies and technology teacher at Rocklin High School in Rocklin CA. He has been teaching since 1997 and has been an advocate for all things "tech" since he first began teaching. His teaching assignment currently has him teaching AP World History, Advanced Geography, Digital Storytelling and Web Design. Along with teaching, Ryan has been presenting at technology and social studies strategies workshops in his district and throughout the country as a trainer for Teacher Created Materials. Ryan has just joined the board of CapCUE and enjoys his family time with wife and two daughters as well vegetable gardening and being a Star Wars superfan.
Victoria Olson

@MsVictoriaOlson Victoria is a Grade 3/4 and Technology Coach at West Langley Elementary School in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. She is a graduate student in the Master of Educational Technology program at the University of British Columbia and a Google Certified Educator. Victoria is a co-founder of #bcedchat, EdCamp35, and PlayDateBC. She helps to organize several educational technology events in order to increase the focus on professional development and educational discussions within her home province. Victoria presents at both local and international levels and is an advocate for online sharing of best pedagogical practices. She believes in meaningful technology integration and innovation in schools and uses the SAMR model as a basis for helping teachers reach their professional goals with technology.
John Stevens

@jstevens009 John Stevens is an educational technology coach for Chaffey Joint Union High School District who has also taught high school Geometry, Algebra 1, middle school Math, Service Learning, and Robotics, Engineering, and Design since 2006. He has served as the go-to guy for trying new, crazy, and often untested ideas to see how well they will work.

He co-founded and moderates #CAedchat, the weekly teacher Twitter chat for the state of California. He also is the co-founder and organizer of EdCamp Palm Springs. In his free time that doesn’t exist, he runs a site called Would You Rather? which is dedicated to getting students talking about math. David Theriault

@davidtedu I'm an English Literature Teacher who loves to take risks and meet new people. I love everything #nerd, comic books, sci-fi, samurai films, trying new food, and old school hip-hop and punk. I'm curious and I raise my hand WAY TOO often in meetings.
I've taught AP English Literature, AP English Language and Composition for eighteen years. I've also served as the Journalism advisor, Academic Decathlon coach, and I currently coach various youth sports.
I've also taught at Mayfair HS in Lakewood and in a continuation school in Bellflower. I've been the WASC coordinator and lead writer twice and I've served as Department Chair twice.

@mrvaudrey Matt Vaudrey is the Educational Technology Coach for Bonita Unified School District who has taught 8th grade, seniors, and most math classes between. Recently, his school tagged him to pilot a 1:1 iPad program for intervention students. With no curriculum, Matt sought ways to make math meaningful for his students using free technologies available.
